The Bromley Common Practice
Crown Medical Centre, 3 Mackintosh Street, Bromley, Kent, BR2 9GT 165 reviewsReviews
The Bromley common practice is great, the receptionist and facilities make it quick and easy to book an appointment and even allows a personal arrival check in.
The doctors are helpful and I would recommend this surgery!
I have been a patient at the Practice for 12 years. The care received has been excellent. On the odd occasion when needed the medical team have gone out of their way to assist in respect of an extra one off prescription item, a referral letter or if at all possible an emergency appointment.
Sometimes it can be difficult to make phone contact, especially early in the morning, the reception team can be overwhelmed and there may be a delay to the appointment time but this is understandable (at least I think so) and is not and should not be a cause for complaint.
I have now been seen by all of the medical team including the practice nurses at one time or another and do not mind who my appointment is with as all have access to my computer medical records.
Love the extended hours appointments, so helpful when you're working and the online booking system saves waiting on the phone. The GP I saw (Dr Foulkes) was very understanding and easy to talk to. Love the new surgery building, it's clean and spacious. Definitely recommend this practice.
Every thing great about the surgery .
The doctors are great but the manger Kate is very rude and basically told me to go elsewhere when I had a complaint in a round about way, the receptionist also gave me wrong information about test results that were not even ready
I'm glad that you think the doctors are great and sorry to hear you think I was rude. I tried very hard to help and would never tell a patient to go elsewhere. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough when we spoke and that led to a misunderstanding. I promised to look into the complaint you raised about a member of our staff which I am in the process of doing. I have also chased up your results again with the laboratory and sent a 'Quality Alert' regarding slowness of reporting, as agreed. I'm sorry your recent experiences have not been entirely positive and hope that your next interaction with the practice is greatly improved.
